Team Interventions & Development

I enjoy working closely with team leaders to create custom made team development interventions – based on an holistic approach and aligned with the organisation’s vision and/or strategy.
The most successful team development programme includes a full-team development process. The process entails a Team Assessment, as well as an off-site intervention to fill gaps in team performance. Off-site intervention can include strategic planning, team facilitation, experiential exercises, adventure-based learning interventions and recreational activities.

Approach

Team interventions can be linked to a theme e.g. Under Construction; Riding the Wave; Seasons; A night at the movies; etc.
Examples of customised team building activities include, but are not limited to: Amazing race; Treasure hunts; Art Sessions; Cooking (e.g. Pizza making, potjieko, Cake Decorating); Quests; Competitions etc. The sessions are always debriefed to ensure ultimate growth and internalisation.

It is our firm believe that self-insight as well as insight into the styles of other team members add value to the team’s approach to communication; problem solving; and decision-making. We will recommend an instrument that is best suited for the team’s specific needs (Team style assessment and profiling).
